Aims of Seale-Hayne Climate Change Solutions Centre will be: • To foster a thriving, interdisciplinary resource and education centre with world class capability, to bring together the best minds, practices, and technologies to combat climate change. • For the delivery of climate change information and practical adaptation solutions: to impartially evaluate and select the best existing practices, research and technologies related to climate change, and make these available for implementation. • Work to remove the perceived barriers to climate change mitigation and adaptation. • Provide reliable information and education to enable individuals and organisations to apply sustainable-living best practice and maintain a high quality of life. • Develop partnerships with academia, research organisations, industry and commerce, the farming community, the energy sector, NGOs, unions, governmental agencies and bodies, environmental groups, schools and colleges, and local community groups, etcetera, to achieve the above aims.
